Dangerous litter can injure people

These are a few of the risks to people that litter and other pollution can have:

Cutting feet on broken glass and other sharp litter.
Having needlestick injuries from discarded syringes.
Becoming sick or having infected eyes from swimming in polluted water where there are harmful bacteria.
Jamming a boat propeller when the propeller or rudder is caught in discarded fishing lines, nets, or plastic.
