Step 1 – Identify the media your audience encounters most days and their preferred media.
Step 2 – Of these media, identify which ones your class is able to do in the time you have available. For example you will not be able to choose radio commercials because they cost a lot of money, but it might be possible to get onto a talkback radio programme.
Step 3 – From the media that are left, identify about three or four communication products (your class has a good chance of completing) that together have the best chance of meeting your goals.
Step 4 – Obtain feedback from your school leadership group. You need to find out how the school policy might affect how you produce and use your communication products. (see next web page)
