First check your school’s email policy to find out how you might use it as part of a communication project. You might find it is necessary to use the email of another organisation to send out your message.

Things to consider when doing an email communication project:

  • Your email project must not be seen as junk mail. 
  • You must not be intruding on people.
  • Email addresses that you will be using must be obtained in a legitimate way.
  • Keep your email to the point.
  • If it includes images, they must remain small so the file that is being sent is small.
  • Your school policy will probably require that the email has no individual contact details of students or students’ names.
