Organisers of The Spillcon 2019 Conference facilitated AUSMEPA (Australian Marine Environmental Protection Association) to include students in their 2019 conference. Schools were contacted by which time a unit of work on how students can create engineering solutions to pollution issues. Students submitted excellent ideas on ways to use engineering to clean up oil spills. Involving students added a great deal of value to conference.
