Tallebudgera Beach Outdoor Education School is located in the Tallebudgera Outdoor Recreation Centre on the Gold Coast. Bordered by the patrolled Tallebudgera Beach, Tallebudgera Creek and the Gold Coast Highway, the site is adjacent to the Burleigh Mountain National Park and Tallebudgera Creek estuary. The location is ideal for the range of aquatic and adventure challenge-based programs offered. The outdoor education curriculum is delivered through personal development, aquatic, environmental and adventure themes. A large component of the program and operations support school-based Human Relationships Education through the development of self-confidence, communication, trust, teamwork and leadership skills. The residential nature of the program also provides for relationship building and the development of the interpersonal dynamics of tolerance, respect, patience and support as demonstrated in our school motto — Courtesy, Consideration, Cooperation and Common Sense.
