What is the marine problem?

How do stromwater drains impact on the sea

The marine plants and sea creatures have to live, eat and breathe in whatever is in their sea. When the water becomes polluted they can't escape. Some of many pollutants that are often found in the sea are plastic products, such as supermarket shopping bags and food wrappers - these can last in the sea for hundreds of years. Plastic can also float on the currents and reach every corner of the globe including the coasts of Antarctica.
