Middle Year Teachers Curriculum Units

The marine environmental units of work below are designed to make the job of the classroom teacher easy. They are designed to meet Australian curriculum requirements for middle years from upper primary school to lower secondary school students. Each unit of work has a student research environment with web pages containing essential information about each topic as well as weblinks to other websites; teachers can download their curriculum material, student activities and assignments.

Each unit of work introduces students to a significant marine environmental issue which includes a shipping related aspect. The units are learning focused and anticipate that teachers will coordinate their students' learning and reduces the need for instruction.
