Australian Marine Environment Protection Association (AUSMEPA)

AUSMEPA makes life easier for school teachers who teach curriculum subjects about the marine environment.

AUSMEPA provides FREE educational resources on this website to help teachers plan and undertake a unit of work about key marine environmental issues, including climate change and stormwater pollution.

For shipping companies and seafarers, AUSMEPA in conjunction with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), provides a FREE DVD to every ship visiting an Australian port. The DVD is titled ‘Welcome to Australia protecting our marine environment’, a copy of the DVD can be viewed by clicking here.

AUSMEPA also operates a ship membership scheme which recognises quality shipping with a proven track record in safety and marine environment protection; to find out more, go to the Ship Owners tab on the menu bar or click here

There has never been a better time to participate in the marine environment protection association than now. Please encourage your industry peers to join AUSMEPA, and help "Save Our Seas". This proactive, industry-led initiative demonstrates to all our commitment to preserving our seas for all to enjoy and presents our industry in a positive light. 

By joining AUSMEPA, you or your organisation would join the ranks of industry's strongest supporters and demonstrate your individual and corporate commitment to responsible practices and to the preservation of the marine environment. You will help in our efforts to "Save our Seas ". 

To expand its programs, and ensure its financial stability, AUSMEPA is recruiting a qualified membership consisting of domestic and international companies, associations, academies and individuals within shipping and the wider land-based industries such as banks, insurance companies, law firms, etc. who share the objectives of AUSMEPA to "Save our Seas".

 There is an annual membership fee which is used to support the efforts of AUSMEPA. We need you to help spread the word about joining AUSMEPA.
